Trinidad James Dropped From Def Jam, Says He Has “No Money”
Trinidad James says he’s been dropped and that he has “no money.”
Trinidad James is no longer a part of Def Jam, according to rapper’s recent Twitter activity.
“I should tell yall. I got dropped by the Label. My Album is now free. If u hear ur beat or verse on it. I hope u want dap cuz i got no money,” the rapper’s Twitter post reads.
James signed with Def Jam in 2012, following the success of “All Gold Everything.” At the time, he thanked the label.
“Def Jam, thank you for believing,” James said.
James released the song and video for “Def Jam” earlier this year.
They say he’s go crazy, they say he too real,” James raps on the song’s hook. “But being a real nigga got me a deal.”
