Rihanna quickly dispelled dating rumors between her and Matt Barnes on Sunday after he bragged about dating the singer to TMZ Saturday. Banes, who was seen at the UCLA Softball Stadium, told the site he and the “American Oxygen” singer were more than friends after he tweeted a few flirty texts her way. He also said he and Riri have had two dates so far.
After getting wind of the interview, Rihanna posted a screenshot on Instagram with the hashtags, “#bishwhere #shesnotthatintoyou, #shesneverevenmetyou,” and the most memorable of them all, “#defmationofcharacter.”
Before Rihanna’s comments, Barnes’s ex-wife Gloria Govan of Basketball Wives fame told TMZ she wouldn’t be bothered if they were to date, just as long as she can get tickets to her concerts.
Rihanna has been linked to a few men this year like Leonardo DiCaprio and Formula One racing star Lewis Hamilton. She was recently seen with Hamilton at Griffin nightclub in New York Friday. She has yet to comment on any of the rumors wih Leo and Hamilton.
