Marques Houston opened up to VladTV about going from living in South Central L.A. to having a platinum album at just 12-years-old. He explained that his manager Chris Stokes discovered him at a talent show when he was a kid and formed the group Immature with Romeo and LBD.
After waiting a year to sign to Virgin Records and their first album, On Our Worst Behavior, not taking off, the group went to MCA. From there they dropped the platinum smash album, Playtyme is Over, which Marques revealed Chris Stokes paid to make with his own money.
