“She thinks the world revolves around her,” says Mariah Carey’s older brother Morgan, 51, a former model and fitness trainer. He put his “diva” sister on blast, saying she is refusing to pay for medical treatment for their dying sister, Alison. Alison is HIV-positive and desperately needs brain and spine surgery.
“Your sister is dying and she’s struggling and where are you?” Morgan wants to know. “You think you are so fabulous, but you are an evil witch.” Mariah, 45, “is only in love with herself and her $5 million engagement ring,” he claims.
Morgan, who has given several less-than-brotherly interviews about Mariah over the years, added that he believes his selfish sis cares more about her Jack Russell terriers, Cha Cha and Jill E. Beans, than she does her own flesh and blood. “She probably spends more on dog food than it would cost to make sure her sister gets properly cared for.”
Alison, 54, has a checkered past. She became pregnant at 15, had three more kids, and turned to prostitution to fund her drug habit. Alison and Mariah had a falling out in 1994, and after Alison was diagnosed with HIV, she threatened to write a tell-all book about her celebrity sister. The two have not spoken in many years.
According to Morgan, Alison nearly died in Hawaii in late 2015 but has since recovered. However, she still needs surgery. Morgan believes Mariah is “intentionally leaving their sister out to dry.”
What’s more, Morgan doesn’t think it’s a stretch for Mariah to “put our sister in a good hospital” and get her “the care she needs.” Despite he and Alison reaching out to their famous sibling “over and over again,” he said the they never hear back.
Mariah, whose fortune is estimated at $520 million, is engaged to Aussie billionaire James Packer. She has not made any comments on her brother’s very public outburst.
