It seems that Ms. Badu has found herself a new boo. Writer and producer Carl Jones, known best for his work on The Boondocks andBlack Dynamite, tweeted a photo of himself with the beloved singer.

Badu later responded to the tweet, essentially confirming the news.
Seems like the creative pairing is a suitable match. They’re already finishing each other’s sentences!
In an interview for the August 2015 cover of ESSENCE, Badu shared that she had met Jones while working on the animated series, Black Dynamite.
“He’s my production partner,” she said. “We have a company together. We write for different things. We bounce ideas off each other.”
