Donald Trump enlisted in the help of the FBI after receiving death threats from a Twitter account allegedly belonging to the son of El Capo, the fugitive kingpin who escapedfrom a Mexico prison over the weekend. The roughly translated message read, “Keep bothering me and I’ll make you swallow all your b***h words you f***ing blond milks**tter @realDonaldTrump.”
The message seemed to be in response to Trump’s tweet on Monday, reading, “Mexico’s biggest druglord escapes from jail. Unbelievable corruption and USA is paying the price. I told you so!”
His “I told you so” was in reference to his presidential campaign speech, where he was quoted saying, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.” Donald was subsequently fired from NBC over the controversial statement.
A spokesperson for Donald told the NY Daily News, “The FBI is fully aware of the situation and is actively investigating this threat against Mr. Trump.”
Amid the news, Trump sent out a statement of his own on the situation, “I’m fighting for much more than myself. I’m fighting for the future of our country which is being overrun by criminals. You can’t be intimidated. This is too important.”
