ALEC BALDWIN Allegedly Threatens Reporter, Hurls Racial Slur at Photog

BREAKING NEWS

Alec Baldwin was involved in another confrontation with the media … after he allegedly threatened to choke a reporter to death and hurled a racial slur at a photographer.

Both Baldwin and the photographer for the New York Post, G.N. Miller, filed harassment claims against one another following the run-in.

According to the Post, the reporter Tara Palmeri, approached Baldwin while he was walking his dogs to ask him about a recent lawsuit against his wife Hilaria. The reporter says Baldwin responded by grabbing her by the arm and saying, “I want you to choke to death.”

The Post says Palmeri played an audio recording of the threat to police.

Baldwin then turned the Post’s photographer — who they say is black and a retired detective with the NYPD’s Organized Crime Control Bureau — and allegedly called him “a coon,” “crackhead” and “drug dealer.”

The Post says Baldwin posted several tweets about the incident, one of which said, “Thank u 2 NYPD officers who came to my home 2day so that I could file a formal complaint against NY Post ‘photographer’ who assaulted me.”

The tweets have been deleted.

Baldwin was involved in two confrontations with photographers last year just days apart — on June 19 and June 29.

Alec Baldwin says the claim he hurled a racial slur “is one of the most outrageous things I’ve heard in my life.” Baldwin says it never happened.

As for what caused the explosion of tempers … sources very close to Baldwin tell TMZ … it all emanated from a story in the Post a few days back, reporting that Alec’s wife was being sued by a student in her yoga class, claiming he was instructed to perform a dangerous move in an overcrowded class and was injured as a result.

Alec’s sources say the actor was infuriated because the Post story did not give her side, even though they claim they had multiple conversations with the reporter, saying the class was not overcrowded and the injured man got special attention because he was being careless and even admitted the accident was his fault.

Sources close to Alec say he’s the one who called the cops and lodged a harassment complaint against the Post photog.  One Baldwin source denies Alec threatened to choke the photog, claiming he said, “I hope you choke to death.”

6:55 AM PT — Baldwin just tweeted using the official Alec Baldwin Foundation’s Twitter handle — saying, “I find it ironic that my foundation’s last grant was $50,000 to the Arthur Ashe Learning Center.”

LIL WAYNE F**K MIAMI HEAT I F**ked Chris Bosh’s Wife

Lil Wayne
went OFF on the Miami Heat last night at All-Star Weekend — claiming he’s been banned from all NBA events because of his beef with the team … and the coup de grace … Wayne said he banged Chris Bosh‘s wife.

Wayne took the stage for an All-Star weekend event in Houston last night, when he told the crowd, “The NBA banned me from all NBA events … because the Miami Heat told them to ban me.”

You’ll recall … Wayne’s been pissed at Miami ever since he says he got the boot during a Heat game last week. Wayne said he got kicked out for rooting for the Lakers … but there were reports Wayne got into trouble for making a gun gesture at another fan.

Either way, Wayne’s obviously still pissed … because last night he continued to vent, telling the crowd, “When I say f**k, you say NBA! When I say f**k, you say Miami Heat!”

He added, “F**k LeBron. F**k She Wade. F**k Chris Bosh. F**k all y’all.”

And if that wasn’t enough … Weezy said, “I f**ked Chris Bosh wife.”

We called Bosh’s rep and the Miami Heat for comment — so far, no word back from either camp.

Beyonce Tells Oprah Blue Ivy Is “Fire”!

beyonce oprah next chapter

The “Countdown” to Beyonce‘s interview on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” has come and gone and while we may not have learned a ton of new things about King Bey, we appreciate the lessons we were able to take away from the “Crazy In Love” singer.

MUST READ: The ‘Awww’ Heard ‘Round The World: Beyonce Finally Reveals Blue Ivy

It’s hard to hate Beyonce when she is the epitome of a woman who seemingly “has it all.” And when you even question if her life isn’t as glamorous as it seems, the kid inside of you, doesn’t want it not to be. But, even Beyonce isn’t perfect and that’s what she wants us to realize. Just like every other woman striving to be successful in this matrix of life, she struggles with time management, talks to herself, curses and finds herself working on her days off.

“My daughter introduced me to myself,” said Beyonce. She described Blue Ivy as “hilarious and she is fire,” and considers her to be her best friend. That may not be the best bit of motherly advice–most moms will tell you to be a mother first and don’t try to be your child’s friend– it is an indicator of imperfection. Something Beyonce has tried to hide until now. Bey had a drink with her mother Tina Knowles for the first time in her life after the Super Bowl. If that is true it’s another sign that Bey’s relationship with her parents isn’t as glamorous as her shiny career. “I needed my father,” she said about her breakup with Matthew Knowles. “I had to tell myself, at some point, you have to be the adult that your father has raised and prepared you to be.”

Oprah deemed Bey the “Beloved Mistress of the Universe.” Whatever that means–not really sure–but yes, our infatuation for Beyonce has managed to grow.

“When I wake up in the morning, the best thing in the world is seeing her face,” the pop star said earlier this month.

“She’s starting to talk. It’s just such a beautiful time in my life to have a child and every day see something new and see her learn something new.”

This marks the second time fans are getting a good look at Blue Ivy. One year ago, when Blue Ivy was just 4-weeks-old, her famous parents shared photos of their precious new arrival.

Lil Wayne Offends: “Karate Chop” Remix Pulled Over Emmett Till Reference

So, what was Lil Wayne thinking?

Epic Records apologized Wednesday and said it was looking to pull all traces off the Internet of the so-called unauthorized remix of Future‘s “Karate Chop,” which featuresLil Wayne making a degrading reference to Emmett Till, an African-American teen from Chicago who was beaten and shot to death in the Jim Crow South in 1955.

“We regret the unauthorized remix version of Future’s `Karate Chop,’ which was leaked online and contained hurtful lyrics,” the label said in a statement. “Out of respect for the legacy of Emmett Till and his family and the support of the Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., we are going through great efforts to take down the unauthorized version.”

T.I. album with rapper wielding a gun released in wake of Sandy Hook shooting in case of bad timing

A post on the Mamie Till Mobley Memorial Foundation’s Facebook page (named after Emmett’s mother) declared that Epic CEO L.A. Reid had contacted the family to offer a personal apology.

“Mr. Reid stated the song was leaked out and he had not heard the lyrics,” read the post. “He is a man of integrity that values our family’s legacy and wouldn’t allow such heinous usage of Emmett Till’s name or dishonor his memory. We have yet to hear from Lil Wayne’s camp and he is the one that said it! It was all I could do to hold back my tears while engaged in conversation. Thank you Mr. Reid for now I can exhale.”

At press time, the “Karate Chop” remix can still be listened to on Epic’s website with the reference to Till censored from Lil Wayne’s line at the 3:14 mark in the song that was recorded as, “Beat that p–sy up like Emmett Till.”

Was Lil Wayne really thrown out of a Heat-Lakers game?

A rep for Lil Wayne said that the rapper had no comment at this time.

Till’s murder in Mississippi was a turning point for the then-fledgling civil rights movement and his name became a symbol for some of the horrific injustices of the time, with Bob Dylanrecording “The Death of Emmett Till” in 1962.

“To compare his murder and how beaten and how bullied, beatened, and tortured he was to the anatomy of a woman was really very disrespectful,” Airickca Gordon-Taylor, Till’s cousin and the founder of the Mamie Till Mobley Memorial Foundation, said in a video posted onRapRadar.com. “We found it dishonorable to his name and what his death has meant to us as a people and as a culture…Our family was very offended, very hurt.”

(CNN) — Superstar Lady Gaga will have surgery to repair a tear in her hip and has canceled the rest of her “Born This Way Ball” tour, Live Nation announced Wednesday.

The singer has a labral tear of the right hip caused by strenuous repetitive movements, the tour operator said. “She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately will force her to cancel the tour so she can heal,” a statement said.

Gaga said Tuesday that several shows would be postponed because of an injury she had been hiding. “I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened,” she tweeted Tuesday afternoon. “I’ve been praying it would heal.”

On Tuesday, the singer described her injury as synovitis, a severe inflammation of joints.

Fans can get refunds for the canceled performances at point of purchase starting Thursday, Live Nation said.

Rihanna strips down for ‘Stay’ music video

Rihanna strips down for 'Stay' music video

Rihanna seemed to lay bare her emotions during her performance of her new single, “Stay,” at the Grammy Awards, and she takes it one step further in the new video for the song.

For the entirety of the clip, the 24-year-old singer appears to be fully nude in a bathtub, one filled with water just cloudy enough to keep this PG-13.

Why the creative team decided to have Rihanna strip down isn’t clear, but it would be pretty easy to interpret the video as representing emotional nakedness and vulnerability.

“Stay” collaborator Mikky Ekko also makes an appearance, but not in the same scenes as Rihanna. Instead, the two provide a visual representation of the distance between the lovers at the heart of the song, which is from Rihanna’s latest album, “Unapologetic.”

Fans who loved the videos for dance-heavy hits like “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been” might be disappointed by the utter lack of movement in this clip, but it fits the song’s contemplative, heavy-hearted tone. HitFix gave it an A+, calling it a “highly appropriate marriage of form and content.”

Ex-cop at center of California manhunt

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • Christopher Dorner is a “superhero” to some, like “Django Unchained,” expert says
  • “Social media weirdness” favors villains, another analyst says
  • The little guy fighting injustice is often a folk hero in film and history, professor says
  • But Dorner’s violence is unacceptable, says attorney who sued LAPD for racism

Los Angeles (CNN) — The life and apparent death of the ex-Los Angeles Police Department cop who declared war against police corruption has generated a social media fringe of fans who are asserting that Christopher Jordan Dorner was really a hero seeking justice, despite being a suspect in four killings.

The sympathizers have garnered 18,336 supporters on a Facebook page entitled “We Stand With Christopher Dorner.” The online group has posted Dorner’s manifesto against corrupt police — a document that was “scrubbed by mainstream media outlets,” the webpage charges.

Another Facebook page, “We Are All Chris Dorner,” had 3,819 “likes,” or followers, with 6,620 people talking about the page devoted to how the 6-foot, 270-pound Dorner was “the victim of a manhunt and smear campaign. 5 years ago he was fired from the LAPD for seeking to expose corruption within it.”

“He killed CORRUPT cops, cops kill INNOCENT people!” one supporter wrote on one of the Facebook pages.

Sheriff: ‘This investigation is over’

“it’s a shame we the people couldn’t help dorner against these government forces,” another wrote.

Dorner garners support on social media

Dorner’s reign of terror

Did police deliberately burn down cabin?

Other supporters used Twitter: “Apparently burning people alive is now considered appropriate behavior for the police. Judge, jury and executioner,” tweeted one man whose handle is @becomeyoung.

That comment referred to how Dorner, 33, a fired Los Angeles police officer and former Navy reservist, was believed to have been killed Tuesday in a vacant mountain cabin outside Los Angeles. The cabin caught fire during a shootout and standoff with police, who also fired tear gas.

Dorner was a suspect in the killing of four people — including two law enforcement officers and the daughter of another — during the past 10 days, authorities said.

Public fascination with and endorsement of an anti-hero is common in history and the arts, especially when the figure advances a political message that resonates with people, experts said.

“He’s been a real-life superhero to many people,” said Marc Lamont Hill, an associate professor of English education at Columbia University. “Don’t get me wrong. What he did was awful. Killing innocent people is bad.

“But when you read his manifesto, when you read the message he left, he wasn’t entirely crazy. He had a plan and mission here, and many people aren’t rooting for him to kill innocent people, they’re rooting for somebody who was wronged to get a kind of revenge against the system.” Hill added. “It is almost like watching ‘Django Unchained’ in real life.”

Fueling Dorner’s folk-hero status is social media’s iconoclastic tone, said BuzzFeed Radio host Jack Moore.

“You’ll have people on social media who support these villains,” Moore told CNN. It’s also home to “James Holmes fans,” the gunman charged with killing 12 people and wounding 58 more in a Colorado cinema last July, he added.

“There is some part of it that is social media weirdness,” Moore continued. The narrative of Chris Dorner “resembles a Denzel Washington movie where someone is wronged, and he stands up for himself and goes down in a blaze of glory,” he said.

Opinion: Don’t focus on Chris Dorner’s politics

Films are steeped in lore of the little guy raging against injustice, sometimes based on historical figures such as Bonnie and Clyde, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Frank and Jesse James, said Elayne Rapping, a retired professor of American and media studies at the State University of New York in Buffalo.

Fictional or historical, the characters are often portrayed as latter-day Robin Hoods, victims of oppression or the everyman brutalized by an economy or authority, Rapping said.

“Americans have always been fascinated with outlaws, going back to early movies, James Cagney, and things like that,” Rapping said. “You always root for the underdog because of a sense of rebellion.

“We sympathize with them because very often people do feel they are tied down to rules and regulations and don’t have autonomy, and people say, ‘I’m going to disregard this and I’m going to do what I want to do,’ ” Rapping added.

Twitter users began marking their comments with “#TeamDorner” in support of the ex-officer. There were about 4,000 original posts with that hashtag by Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, more than 1,870 people joined the Twitter page @WeRChrisDorner, a fan page linked to a similarly named Facebook page.

Some tweets pointed out how innocent civilians were mistakenly fired upon by police on Thursday during their weeklong manhunt in southern California. Los Angeles Police mistakenly shot and wounded two people in nearby Torrance as the civilians drove a blue pickup truck resembling Dorner’s vehicle. The LAPD officers involved in the shooting were placed on paid administrative leave.

Torrance police also fired upon another blue pickup the same day, but no one was injured in that incident, a law enforcement source said.

“From the perspective of people watching, two cars filled with innocent people were shot at in what to a lot of people looked like street justice than police procedure,” said Karen North, a social media expert and psychologist at the University of Southern California.

Manhunt: A car chase, a gunfight and a fiery cabin

“It certainly doesn’t help a police department that has a history of what looks like brutality, and then they act in a way that looks rash and unthinking on TV,” North added.

On a talk radio station in the African-American community in Los Angeles, some residents “were lionizing and admiring Dorner,” said civil rights attorney Connie Rice.

Rice has sued the LAPD for racism on behalf of more than 100 minority officers, an experience that she described to CNN as “hand-to-hand combat.” The LAPD had a “racially hostile culture,” evidenced in the videotaped police beating of Rodney King in 1991 that later triggered street riots, Rice said.

“The LAPD’s relationship with the black community could only be described as a state of war. Outside of Mississippi, I’ve never seen anything like it,” Rice told CNN.

Because of reforms, however, the department has improved, and she even has a parking space at the police department’s offices, she said.

She pointed out how Police Chief Charlie Beck has agreed to reopen the investigation that led to Dorner’s firing in 2008. In his manifesto, Dorner said he was relieved of his duties after he reported excessive force by a fellow officer in July 2007. He joined the force in 2005.

The LAPD’s history of racism aside, Dorner’s alleged violence cannot be tolerated, Rice said.

She also took strong exception with Dorner’s supporters and fans in the black community and on the Internet, which she also called the “Id town where a lot of the ugly things come out.”

“The community that comes from Martin Luther King Jr. can never condone this kind of violence,” Rice said.

justin-timberlake-jay-z-suit-and-tie-videoThe Prince of Pop Justin Timberlake hasn’t even released his third solo album yet and there are reports that he’s already planning a stadium tour with his new buddy Jay-Z.

After shutting down the Grammys with their performance of “Suit & Tie,” the New York Post is reporting the ebony-and-ivory pair will be announcing a stadium tour in the very near future. However, nothing has been officially confirmed or denied. If true, the tour will be a short 10 city trek.

Since recording the smooth number, Jay-Z and Justin have close as friends. Timberlake’s wife actressJessica Biel was seen seated  next to Beyonce which is usually reserved for other celebrities worthy enough to breathe the Carters’ rarefied air. before taking to the stage, Justin gave a red carpet interview where he said, “We’re definitely going to go on tour . . . I don’t know how much I should say . . . It’s going to be a lot of fun, I know that.”

Although we don’t officially know who the other person in the “we” is, we sincerely hope it’s Jigga.
