Lauryn Hill––apologies, Ms. Lauryn Hill—doesn’t play when it comes to getting respect, even if she isn’t being respectful herself.

The award-winning entertainer showed up nearly one and a half hours late for her recent show at the House of Blues in Chicago, then flipped out when a couple fans showed their disdain for her tardiness.
“When I get up on this stage, don’t be disrespectful. You can go…You can get your money back before you go. I’m okay with that.” she said from on stage.
And when another male fan threw up his middle finger in response to her rant, she called for security to have him escorted out. “Excuse me, there’s a gentleman out there, that just did something that I don’t like, can you please escort him out. I don’t play that.”

She continued: “I don’t need to win you over, you don’t need to win me over. You can go. And you can take all your money right back. I do this because I love it…you can get on your blogs, you can tweet about this, I don’t give a rats ass.”
Hill was supposed to hit the stage at 10:30, however she didn’t make it on stage until roughly 11:20.
The concert goer who shot this video told, TMZ that the concert was “rushed and sloppy,” and that a large line of people demanded a refund at the box office.
