Kelly Rowland Has Scary Boat Ride & Ends up Stranded

    Kelly Rowland is a very busy woman. She just dropped another studio album several weeks ago, she landed the gig as a judge on “The X Factor,” and she has a new endorsement with Jaguar. So it makes sense the R&B beauty decided to try to get some relaxing time in with an innocent boat ride with close friends over the weekend. Unfortunately for Kelly, the boat ride ended up being a very scary one. The singer now knows what it feels like to be stranded out in the sea. According to reports, Kelly and friends ended up stranded in the sea when the boat broke down. According to reports, the group was stranded and waiting for help for 12 hours. E! News reports:

    The group originally set sail for a day of whale watching, when their vessel became “disoriented in the five-to-six-foot waves and fog that had rolled in,” an employee at TowboatUS Provincetown confirmed to E! News.

    “The US Coast Guard was able to triangulate their position” after learning that the group needed help, the employee added.

    While they were being escorted by the Coast Guard back to Provincetown, Rowland’s boat broke down. The party then had to be towed the remaining four miles to shore.

    The former Destiny’s Child singer, her friends and the crew arrived on land at around 10 p.m., after being at sea for 12 hours.

    In the end, the entire group was said to be “tired and thankful,” the employee added.
