It was just this past summer that the Made In America festival went down for it’s second time, and now Jay Z is taking us on a journey and giving us an inside look at how the very first run of the festival went down.
Premiering the documentary on Showtime, Hov gives us a behind the scenes look of the two-day mayhem, preparations and performances.
In the Ron Howard directed film, we get the perspectives from festival security guards, crew members, promoters, food vendors, and even the mayor of Philadelphia, Michael Nutter.
The film captures Jigga as he preps for his own headling set, along with artists such as Jill Scott, Odd Future, Rita Ora, Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Run DMC, Janelle Monáe, and more sharing their stories before hitting the stage at Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
And as an extra bonus we also get to see the mogul paying a visit to his old apartment the now infamous 560 State Street. Check it out in full in the video above!
