Grammy Nominated Gospel Singer/Songwriter James Fortune Arrested

STAFFORD, Texas –In the news again, Fox 26 News has learned Grammy nominated gospel singer James Fortune has been arrested. According to staffers at the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s office, Fortune was released on a $20,000 bond. He was charged with aggravated assault to a family member. The Factor has not been able to reach Fortune’s reps as of yet but we’re working on it. Details to come. Stand by!Note: You may remember in 2012, James Fortune was accused in a civil lawsuit of abusing his 4 year old stepson in 2001, by putting him in scolding hot water. That child is now 17 years old.
