Floyd Mayweather and rapper T.I. reportedly were involved in a heated altercation early Sunday morning in Las Vegas, perTMZ:

T.I. took a swing at Floyd Mayweather Jr. and it caused a chair-tossing brawl in the Fatburger on the Vegas Strip early Sunday morning … TMZ has learned.

According to several witnesses … Floyd was eating inside the restaurant when T.I. walked up and started jawing at Floyd.

It’s unclear what caused the beef, but we’re told T.I. swung at Floyd … their giant bodyguards jumped in to separate them … and then the all out melee began.

Video from the altercation involving the pound-for-pound champion quickly surfaced, with Mayweather clearly shouting at somebody while being surrounded by other people. The website BallerAlert.com shared footage from Mayweather’s perspective on Instagram (warning: NSFW language):

BallerAlert also posted an image of Mayweather with T.I.’s wife, Tiny:

TMZ also reports that police confirmed one man suffered a minor injury as part of the scuffle. The man apparently denied treatment and refused to cooperate with officers on the scene.

It’s not clear what Mayweather’s involvement in the physical altercation was, if he had any. However, judging by the videos that surfaced from the scene, Mayweather certainly wasn’t pleased by what transpired.

Following the reports of the incident rapper 50 Cent posted a video on his Instagram account discussing the news (warning: NSFW language):

He also posted a photo with the caption: “Me and floyd working all this out lol#smsaudio#animalambition.”

For boxing fans, this comes less than a month after Mayweather’s successful bout against Marcos Maidana. Mayweather will be looking to push his record to 47-0 during his career in September, but it remains to be seen whom his opponent will be. Whether it’s a rematch with Maidana or even a fight with Manny Pacquiao, all attention is focused on Mayweather outside the ring for the time being.

Mayweather has yet to release a statement, and it remains to be seen if he will acknowledge Sunday’s incident. However, “Money” is one of the most outspoken and social media-savvy athletes in the world, so one could assume he will look to clear the air.

Verbal and physical altercations have followed Mayweather in recent years, so this will surely pique interest from fans and pundits. Once he announces his next opponent, eyes and attention will quickly focus on his next fight. Until then, though, social media will be buzzing about the scene from Fatburger.
