Count Jill Scott among the few who are publicly pro-Cosby. The soul singer and budding actress’ Twitter account has become a one-stop shop of support for the embattled comedian.
Monday, Scott got into it with a few of her nearly one million followers about whether or not folks are condemning Cosby too quickly.
One of her followers suggested Scott didn’t understand how to use her platform on social media and the singer’s support of Cosby was proof she was misinformed.
Last month, comedian Faizon Love called Hannibal Buress a “house N***a” for bringing up the Cosby allegations on stage. Some of questioned the stories of Cosby’s accusers. Love ripped them to shreds.
Scott didn’t go as far in her support, but shared with one follower her hesitation in condemning the comedy legend was out of “respect.”
