Update 03/14/2019 9:57pm:

J. Prince caught some backlash from various artists that he tagged in a post about YBN Almighty Jay’s chain being stolen after he was jumped in New York. Mysonne called J. Prince’s message “inappropriate,” and Hocus said that he wished J. Prince didn’t tag him in the post, while both maintained that they respected J. Prince.

The Rap-A-Lot founder took to Instagram again on Thursday (March 14) evening to address the people in his post. He started out by writing, “Let me make myself clear. I was never asking any of y’all for help in any capacity. I don’t need you, I don’t know you, or trust any of y’all to do anything concerning the streets for me.”

J. Prince went on to say, “With that being said I witnessed a clown campaigning, bragging, and snitching on himself on a public video about robbing industry people in your backyard so I took it upon myself to alert the ones I have respect for. It is clear to me that went over some of y’all heads. Just for more clarity Ive been having ties in the Bronx and throughout New York for a long time and now it’s gotten even stronger with my youngstas.”

J. Prince wrote on Instagram, “Mob Ties Call To My Real Street N***as Around The World But Especially On The East Coast In The Bronx. There’s A Clown By The Name Of Zae And His Crew Who Want To Become Famous By Bragging About Robbing Rap Industry N***as. They Recently Bragged About Robbing The Artist YBN Almighty Jay Whom I’m Invested In. They’ve Robbed Him Of His Money And Jewelry Including A Rap-A-Lot Piece. So Therefore They Have Robbed A Piece Of Me.”

Following the attack, the guys who jumped YBN Almighty Jay showed off his chain, and a photo of Jay’s injuries surfaced online.
