Previously, Tory Lanez dropped the ‘Daystar’ album, which found him addressing all the allegations surrounding him allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez denied shooting Megan in the foot, and called out other people on the project including J.R. Smith, Bun B, Dream Doll, Asian Doll, and more. Since then, Megan and her team have said Tory Lanez is trying to launch a smear campaign against the Houston rapper. Along with that, documents have reportedly surfaced from Cedar Sinai hospital noting the Houston rapper was telling the truth about being treated for a gunshot injury.

Lyrics on Lanez’s ‘Daystar’ album found him asking how Megan could be shot in the foot, but no bullets hit “any bones and tendons.” However, the reports from Cedar Sinai show that shrapnel from a bullet was found in Megan’s left heel, and that she was treated with debridement and irrigation. The rapper was admitted to the hospital on July 12 and released on July 14 after she given medication along with the okay to be released.
