Michigan based artist development guru and Def Jam Records agree to million dollar deal to house and re-develop every A-list artist signed to the prestigious label. Brandon Smith’s company, Star Factory, will begin private boot camp sessions with the likes of Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Frank Ocean. Located on on the outskirts of Detroit, Def Jam’s A&R department will cycle 3-5 artists through the Detroit based company on a monthly basis in hopes of increasing the live performance etiquette of some of the labels biggest stars.
