We know Jay Z as a gangster-turned-mogul, but after the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter, we’re getting to know a new side of Jigga: the family man.

Beyonce recently uploaded the most precious picture of the daddy-daughter duo standing in the middle of a blue paradise while the couple vacationed in the Bahamas.

But this isn’t the first image of Jay Z showing off his skills as a great dad; even after he told Elliott Wilsonabout his fears of following in his own father’s poor parenting footsteps:

“When your baby first comes, it’s only joy. It’s fascinating that two people can create a life. It’s only glory, it’s all joy. Then after that kicks in, you sit with yourself and say, ‘Am I going to be a good dad? I know I have the DNA of my dad, I know it’s not just with me and my dad, it’s an ongoing problem in our entire community. How do I get around it?’”
