After a 15-year hiatus, Bell Biv DeVoe have put out “Run,” a song that revels in the past.
The track itself finds each of the former New Edition members, who scored major hits in 1990 with “Poison” and “Do Me!” complaining about a relationship where their lovers run away whenever they get close.
But everything else about it hearkens back to the group members’ glory days in the Eighties and Nineties.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the threesome will be putting out a new album, Three Stripes =, on January 27th. It will follow up 2001’s BBD and their most recent reunion, this past March, on Johnny Gill’s “This One’s for Me and You.”
The trio is also working on a three-part BET miniseries, The New Edition Story, premiering in January.
