    Previously, Tekashi revealed that he donated $200,000 to the No Kid Hungry Foundation. The rapper posted the news via IG and said: “REMEMBER if you are blessed GOD gave you that blessing not just for YOU but also TO HELP OTHERS 🙌🏼 GOD FIRST.” Now, the No Hungry Kid Foundation has cleared up the donation, noting that they are not accepting the contribution from the storied rapper.ADVERTISING

    The foundation issued a statement saying, “We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation. As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”

    Tekashi 6ix9ine has been in the headlines since his early release from prison, going back and forth with people slamming him online, including Meek Mill and Chet Hanks. Despite stirring up controversy, 6ix9ine announced that he’s giving back to the less fortunate by donating $200,000 to the No Kid Hungry Foundation. 

    He shared the news on Instagram along with the message, “During this pandemic I understand we have nurses and frontline Hero’s who risk there life daily to save others. But NEVER forget the children & families who depend on OUR PUBLIC schools for daily meals and nutritions to keep our future leaders growing to their best potential. To every influencer out there REMEMBER if you are blessed GOD gave you that blessing not just for YOU but also TO HELP OTHERS 🙌🏼 GOD FIRST.”
