Earlier this year former Cash Money rapper Turk filed a $1.3 million lawsuit against the label, claiming they never registered 34 songs he wrote and co-wrote with the U.S. Copyright Office, leaving him ineligible for royalties. After all the dust up Turk told the judge to drop the lawsuit, claiming he came to an amicable agreement with Cash Money, but the amount wasn’t made public, according to The New Orleans Advocate.

It seemed that the “It’s Hot” rapper had won the case in May by default after Cash Money never filed a response to the lawsuit, which VladTV obtained the legal documents from. Turk later told the judge to dismiss the suit on June 30, while both sides paid their legal fees.
