T.I. and Jeezy have been talking about collaborating on an LP for years. Now, the project looks to be coming into fruition. MTVNews recently caught up with the Kang backstage at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse concert and Tip revealed the project, reportedly titled Dope Boy Academy, is currently being put together. “We are finally putting the execution part in the works,” said T.I. The Atlanta MC mentioned timing as something that has held the project back before. “This is one of the first times that we are both putting our albums out around the same time. Now we can collectively come together and do something together,” he said. Adding, “We already have probably ’bout six or seven records already.”

Jeezy advised fans to be on the lookout for new music from the duo. “Keep your eyes and your ears open,” said Da Snowman. “That’s my brother from another right there. We stay in our bag. So I would just stay focused if I was you.”
