Michael Jackson fans hit out after DNA test claims singer fathered a secret son

The late singer’s devotees react with shock and disbelief on Twitter after hearing the news

Michael Jackson allegedly fathered a love child after a DNA test claimed to prove he had a secret son.

Brandon Howard, the son of singer Mika Howard, whom Joe Jackson represented back in 1980s, underwent tests which supposedly revealed a 99.9999 per cent match to the Thriller star.

And it seems fans of the late singer are just as doubtful about the results.

One Twitter user wrote: “This Michael Jackson story lovechild story starting to feel like that hoverbort hoax.”

Another person tweeted: “Michael Jackson allegedly has a ‘lovechild’ smh. When is all this drama coming at him ever gonna end?”

One other Twitter user blasted the DNA test as not being credible and said they would only believe it if they got the results somewhere else.

They wrote: “I need a credible source to believe this news about Michael Jackson’s lovechild with singer Miki Howard….”

Meanwhile, one other Jackson fan was simply baffled, writing: “I don’t understand why it’s only coming out now that Michael Jackson is his father tho.”

Another person wrote: “Why would Michael Jackson (who loves kids) not claim his own son but then want kids so bad that he had Debbie Rowe carry two of them?”

However, one person didn’t appear to be thinking about the truth in the results and were more concerned about the Jackson family, writing: “Got bless Michael Jackson’s kids and family!!!”

In a statement released by Howard through manager Scott Broomfield, he said: “To my fans, family, and friends, despite recent allegations, I did not authorise the testing of my DNA to be compared to that of the late Michael Jackson.

“This spring, I agreed to be a part of a documentary with FilmOn.TV and was asked to give a sample of my DNA. Even though I agreed to this I never expected it to be used in this manner.

“To this day, I have never claimed to be Michael Jackson’s son nor do I have any intention of pursuing the family’s estate.”

Brandon’s father Augie also insists Michael Jackson is not the father insisting he was present at the birth of Brandon.

The paternity of Jackson’s three children, Prince, 17, Paris, 15, and 12-year-old Blanket, have always been surrounded by controversy.

The Mirror revealed last year how his friend, Oliver star Mark Lester claimed he was the father of the two eldest.
