Janet Jackson took to social media on Monday [May 1], with a message for her fans, particularly those still holding on to tickets from one of the 70+ tour dates she postponed after announcing her pregnancy with husband Wissam Al Mana last year.

“I’m continuing my tour as promised. I’m so excited, so excited,” Jackson announced. She started off the recording by addressing the state of her family, expressing bliss over finally having a healthy child of her own, before confirming that she and the child’s father, Wissam Al Mana are currently in court and going through with a divorce. But then she got around to the music, which fans have long awaited since being left to dry after her release of Unbreakable in October of 2015.

What had been titled after her album, as the Unbreakable Tour, will this time around be named the State of the World Tour. It will be a North American trek, with 56 shows, and will kick off on September 7th in Lafayette, Louisiana. The tour will conclude in December, when it lands in Atlanta one week before Christmas. Those Unbreakable Tour ticket holders looking to circle their date on the calendar will be able to do so, without any additional cost. Fans looking to purchase admission to one of the added dates will be able to go on Live Nation to buy their seats starting on May 5th.
