What did Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez name their new baby boy?

The cute couple has chosen the adorable name of Maceo Robert Martinez for their bundle of joy, E! News has confirmed.

“They chose it because it means gift from God,” a source tells E! News. “Olivier wanted to give a nod to his Spanish roots. They picked the name a while ago, they love it.”

Berry and Martinez welcomed their son on Saturday at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Maceo is Berry’s second child and Martinez’s first. Berry has 5-year-old daughter Nahla from her previous relationship with ex Gabriel Aubrey.

Berry’s rep didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment on the baby name.

The 47-year-old French actor confirmed they were expecting a boy back in June, telling People, “My son will remain an American, but I will remain French. I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there—but I’m still a foreigner. My son will be an American.”

E! News broke the news that the 47-year-old Oscar-winning actress was pregnant in April. “Halle and Olivier are really excited,” a source told us at the time. “It’s a blessing. They can’t wait to have a baby together.”
