Much like his protege 50 Cent, Eminem is making his way into television, as he is reportedly in negotiations to executive produce a show based on the 2002 movie Narc. The Detroit emcee is also looking to write music for the show, which will be shot in his home city.
The plot of the show is said to closely follow that of the movie, where two police detectives try to solve the murder of an undercover officer. The movie’s director Joe Carnahan will also be producing the upcoming project.
Several musicians have seen success after attaching themselves to television shows, including Timbaland with “Empire,” and 50 Cent with his highly successful show, “Power.”
