HOLLYWOOD – Supperclub – Birdman punches Lil Wayne in the face landing him in the hospital after a Christmas after party.
Wayne, who stands firm in his belief that his new album “Tha Carter V” is ready to go, made headlines nearly two weeks ago after ranting against Cash Money on Twitter saying it was the label’s fault his new album wasn’t coming out yet. “I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy.”
Birdman, on the other hand, explained in return the delay in dropping the album to loads of administrative work that goes into releasing a record, something Weezy wouldn’t know about because he’s just a rapper, not a business man.
But Lil Wayne wasn’t having it. TMZ first reported yesterday that Weezy was ready to take his feud with Birdman to the next level, threatening to drag him and Cash Money in court if they didn’t drop his album now.
Wayne and Birdman who aren’t speaking to each other, hadn’t seen each other since Wayne decided to take to social media against the record label company. But that wasn’t the case at Supperclub, Hollywood last night.
“When I saw Birdman walking towards Wayne, I knew something was going down,” a source very close to the feud tells us.
Moments later, Birdman would of allegedly punched Lil Wayne to the face knocking him out cold while yelling “F**k your album b**ch, sue me over this!”
Lil Wayne, who laid unconscious for nearly 14 minutes, was taken to Southern California Hospital as a preventive measure in case of a concussion.
