Birdman Declares Allegiance To Lil Wayne On Instagram

Until his recent sit-down with Angie Martinez, Birdman was almost radio silent regarding Lil Wayne’s disgruntlement with him and his Cash Money business practices. After awkwardly opening up to the famed radio personality–constantly dubbing Weezy as “his son”–it seems like Birdman is looking to make amends. In an Instagram post on Saturday (Aug. 15), Baby posted up next to a photo of Wayne.

“4Life LFLS YMCMB,” he wrote.

During his interview with Angie Martinez, Birdman downplayed the beef between he and Wayne, accusing the media of painting it as worse than it was. Claiming that he encounters Wayne daily and even sits in to listen to his new music, the Cash Money boss also vehemently denied taking part in the drink-throwing and tour bus shooting that has since occurred during their dispute.

“The media makes it worse than what it really is,” he said. “Me and my son don’t scream at each other. I’m a man. He respects me as his pops and I respect him as my son. There ain’t never come a day where he’s going to talk to me in a disrespectful manner. We didn’t come from that cloth.”

The tables have apparently turned with regards to outspokenness these days, as Wayne seems to be the one keeping quiet about their severed ties and pending lawsuit. Will an Instagram post serve as a consolation prize? Stay tuned.
