Master P has a message for Colin Kaepernick … WHO NEEDS THE NFL … telling TMZ Sportsif the league won’t let Kaep ball, he’s down to help Colin start up his own shop, and take down the shield.

P knows about sports startups, his Global Mixed Gender Basketball league is off to an incredible start, attracting big name talent like the Gonzalez TwinsGlen “Big Baby” Davis, and Metta World Peace.

When we got him out in L.A. we had to ask P what he thought about Kaep’s situation, and P had a very simple answer, if you can’t join ’em, beat ’em.

“I’ll help him start his own league. I think he should, I mean he’s a great football player. I think the NFL should have some competition.”

P’s point is that the only way Colin can ensure his right to demonstrate any way he wants is to have some ownership, and that’s exactly what he wants to do with his upstart league.

Someone get “He Hate Me” on the phone.

Doughboy Roc investigated by DEA before death

Detroit — Rapper Doughboy Roc was under federal investigation and had $55,000 seized by U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents before being shot to death Monday, The Detroit News has learned.

Court records and sources familiar with the federal investigation offer insight into the final months of the 29-year-old rapper, real name Rodney Yeargin, who gained local fame within the music industry while striving for mainstream success.

It’s unclear whether there’s any connection between the homicide and the seizure of money or the DEA investigation.

Drug dealing and the rap industry have overlapped in high-profile federal investigations locally in recent years. In March, The News reported that DEA agents were investigating Detroit music mogul Brian Brown after an informant identified the BMB Records owner as one of the largest heroin dealers in the Midwest who was using the rap label to launder drug money.

The DEA is investigating a local rap music mogul who is accused of being one of the largest heroin dealers in the Midwest. Take a look at the BMB Records founder Brian Brown’s alleged drug empire and locations targeted by federal drug agents.

Though the full scope of the DEA investigation was unclear Thursday, sources familiar with the investigation said federal agents stopped Yeargin on Feb. 28 at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Agents seized more than $55,000 in cash before Yeargin could board a flight.

Yeargin was never charged with a federal crime.

“It is against Department of Justice policy to confirm or deny an existing investigation,” DEA spokesman Rich Isaacson told The News.

Yeargin was flying with the cash to buy a car in Arizona, said attorney Ivan Land, who was hired to reclaim the cash.

Yeargin earned the money through selling rap CDs and concert performances, the lawyer said.

“My client was not a drug dealer,” Land said. “He was a successful artist.”

Yeargin’s destination in Arizona was unclear, his lawyer said.

Travelers can fly from Detroit Metropolitan Airport to several cities in Arizona, including Phoenix and Tucson. Both are considered by federal drug agents as source cities for large shipments of narcotics to Metro Detroit due to the cities’ close proximity to the U.S.-Mexican border

Land spoke to the rapper three days before the shooting to prepare for reclaiming the money. The attorney had told prosecutors about the source of the cash and planned vehicle purchase in Arizona, he said.

“They said ‘prove it,’” Land said. “We were in the middle of working it out.”

Land does not believe the shooting was drug-related and disputed that Yeargin was being investigated by federal drug agents.

“I don’t think that if a person was in some type of trouble that they would be out in the open like that,” Land said.

Two months after the cash seizure, Yeargin faced a separate legal challenge.

On April 8, he was hit with two cocaine charges in Wayne County, including a 20-year felony, but caught a break.

Instead of 20 years in prison, prosecutors offered Yeargin a deal to plead guilty to attempted delivery/manufacture of less than 50 grams of cocaine. His sentencing guidelines recommended a term of seven-to-23 months in state prison and included the possibility of probation.

Wayne Circuit  Judge Dana Hathaway, instead, sentenced Yeargin to two years’ probation, according to Wayne County Circuit Court records.

“He was allowed to plead and a sentence of probation would be in line with that type of plea,” said Maria Miller, an assistant prosecutor with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.

Yeargin’s criminal defense lawyer, Kareem LaMount Johnson, was aware of the cash seized by federal agents.

“It was my understanding that all of that money had been lawfully gained,” Johnson said Thursday. “It was just a matter of a young hip hop artist who likes to carry cash.”

The shooting shocked Johnson.

“Oh man, he was such a good kid,” he said. “The last time I had contact with Mr. Yeargin, he was working solely on music.”

The conviction was at least Yeargin’s third serious crime.

In 2011, he was convicted of carrying a weapon with unlawful intent and felony firearm.

After being sentenced for the drug crime in June, Yeargin was ordered to wear a tether until mid-September. He posted a photo of the tether and low-top white Nike Air Force One sneakers on Instagram on Sept. 14 with the hashtag #blessed.

Four weeks later, he was dead.

Detroit Police officers found his bullet-ridden body in a white Hyundai near Stoepel and Westfield Monday afternoon on the city’s west side.

He appeared to have been shot in his right ear and shoulder, police said.

Soon after the news broke that the rapper had been killed, the neighborhood filled with authorities and mourners and tributes from fellow musicians flooded social media.

Monday’s incident is the second fatal shooting in three months involving well-known Detroit rappers. In July, Dominique Brown and Ramell Campbell, known as Domo Brown and 47 Mell, respectively, were killed in a drive-by shooting while driving east on Interstate 94 near Livernois. Police said that killing was the result of an ongoing feud.

Other shootings involving Detroit rappers include:

■Dex Osama, whose real name was Byron Cox, was killed in September 2015 outside the Crazy Horse strip club in southwest Detroit following a fight over a woman.

■ King Gordy, who appeared in Eminem’s movie “8 Mile,” was shot five times in February 2013 during a robbery attempt.

■In April 2006, DeShaun Holton who, as rapper “Proof,” was a member of the Eminem-fronted hip-hop sextet D12, was killed outside the CCC Club on Eight Mile near Gratiot.

■ Obie Trice, also an Eminem protege, was shot Dec. 31, 2005, while driving on the Lodge Freeway.

■Darnell Lyndsey, whose stage name was Blade Icewood, was killed in April 2005 in a drive-by shooting, less than a year after another gun attack had left him paralyzed from the chest down.

Anyone with information about Monday’s fatal shooting is asked to call the Detroit Police Department Homicide Unit at (313) 596-2260. Anonymous tips also can be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

Tyrese isn’t shy about stuntin on his haters. Even if it’s the reigning box office champion.

Tyrese recently posted on instagram showing off the numerous cars he has at his home. Apparently, his business partners were competing with him and he had to shut them down by showing his cars with the twin turbos. In a subsequent post, he also went at The Rock.

In an Instagram post that included the cast of the original Fast & Furious, Tyrese captioned it with saying, “Diversity, love, multi-ethnic worldwide multi-generational, United Nations, One Race, Fast Family…… Until Dewayne showed up I guess this whole time he had a problem cause he wasn’t the ONLY ONE on the movie poster.”

Tyrese did not hold back by calling The People’s Champion a “clown” and passive-aggressively congratulated him and The Rock’s manager, Dany Garcia, in successfully splitting up the franchise. The cause of this beef allegedly stems from The Rock getting his own movie sequel co-starring with Jason Statham and pushing back production on the latest Fast & Furious sequel.

The Rock didn’t respond directly to Tyrese but did tweet that his “goal from day 1 was to come in and create an exciting/fun character for the fans, elevate the franchise and build it out.”

  • New photos show Vegas shooter’s dead body on the floor of his hotel room after he committed suicide
  • Next to his body are two assault rifles with bipods; one has a ‘bump stock’, making it effectively full-auto
  • Something that looks like a note can be seen on a table, though police haven’t mentioned finding one
  • Dozens of spent shells litter the floor and in one corner magazines sit in neat stacks
  • A hammer is also seen, which Paddock presumably used to smash open two windows in his suite
  • It was from both of those vantage points that Paddock fired on a crowd of 22,000 attending a music festival
  • He fired on the crowd for 9-11 minutes, killing at least 58 and injuring 527. His death brought the total to 59
  • He put cameras in the peephole of his room’s door and in a room service cart outside so he could see SWAT
  • Cops blew open the door 72 minutes after his murder spree began and found Paddock had shot himself dead
  • They are still not sure why the multimillionaire gambling addict would have opened fire on random people
  • He had no criminal record, though in the two weeks prior to his death he carried out several large-figure bets
  • In the week before he died, he also wired $100,000 to an account in his girlfriend’s native Philippines
  • Girlfriend Marilou Danley is back to being a person of interest and is en route back to the U.S. for questioning

New photos show the horrifying scene SWAT teams encountered when they blew the door off the Las Vegas shooter’s room and found him dead inside – as authorities reveal the mass murderer set up cameras in a door peephole and on a room service cart outside the room to warn him when police arrived.

The photos, leaked Tuesday, show Stephen Paddock’s body on the floor of his suite in the Mandalay Bay resort and casino, which he used as a sniper’s nest on Sunday night to open fire on 22,000 innocent people attending a music festival across the street.

Only the 64-year-old’s legs, torso and left arm are visible in the photo, and he wears a typical outfit for a retiree: a brown long-sleeve t-shirt, black slacks and slip on loafers with white socks. The only thing that reveals his nefarious actions are the black gloves he’s wearing.

Next to him, on a table, is what looks like a note written on pink paper, underneath what appears to be either an ashtray or a roll of green tape. Police have not yet remarked on what – if anything – the paper might say.

On the floor next to the body are two assault rifles, dozens of spent shells and a hammer – which he presumably used to shatter two windows in his two-room suite which he then used to shoot out of.

One of the assault rifles has a ‘bump stock’ added to it – making effectively fully automatic – allowing him to unleash hundreds of rounds per minute.

The branding on the gun indicates it was made by Daniel Defense, a Savannah-Georgia-based company which produces variants of the AR-15 rifle, based off the U.S. Army’s M16. Another gun appears to be under his body.

Another photo shows how he pushed two sitting chairs together to form a cradle-like space to store at least two other rifles. Another AR-15-style rifle is seen at the foot of chairs with an extended magazine that would allow him to shoot for longer before reloading.

Behind a nearby pillar, about 15 magazines are piled in neat stacks. It’s unclear if they are loaded or spent.

A SWAT team located Paddock in his room about 72 minutes after the beginning of the deadly attack – but cops estimate he only fired on the crowd for 9-11 minutes, starting at 10:08pm.

Police say he shot at officers as they breached the door, but by the time they made it into the suite, Paddock had committed suicide.

Paddock killed 58 in the attack and injured 527. His death brought the total death count to 59.

On Tuesday, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said they had identified all but three of the victims, and that the injured county might be slightly off because one of the hospitals was double counting patients. However, he didn’t release a revised injured number.

In a Tuesday night conference, Undersheriff Kevin McMahill said that an investigation was underway to find out who leaked the photographs.

Speaking at the same press conference, Jill Sneider of the ATF said that no less than 12 of the rifles found in the room had bump-stock modifications.

In total, there were 23 firearms in the hotel room, including an AK-47, an AR-15-type gun, and a handgun.

But Paddock had still more guns stored in his two houses in Verdi, outside Reno, and Mesquite, bringing the total across all thee locations to 47, she said.

They included rifles, shotguns and handguns bought from Nevada, Texas, Utah and California. All had been bought – legally – over the course of more than 20 years.

Also on Tuesday, video was released showing debris strewn outside the shooter’s hotel room, from when the SWAT team blew the doors off the front door.

The video shows bullet holes piercing the left side of the suite’s double doors, confirming reports that Paddock shot at officers as they tried to break into the room. However, most of the door is knocked down from the SWAT team’s forceful – but necessary – entrance.

Outside the door, debris littered the carpeting in the hallway and crime scene tape covers the entrance to the room; just inside, yet another assault rifle set up on the ground, on a bipod.

At a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Lombardo confirmed that Paddock had cameras set up inside and outside of his room – including one on the food service cart. The peephole camera was revealed Tuesday evening by McMahill.

The cameras outside the room appear to have been used to warn Lombardo when police were outside. A source told the Washington Post that the cameras outside the room were connected to a tablet which streamed live footage of the hallway.

Cameras were also found inside the room, apparently to film the massacre. All of the footage is now being examined by the FBI.

Stand For what?!
You want me to stand for a song that continues to remind me of all the harms that have done me wrong?
Stand for what?!
For your Army that none of our sons truly belong
Stand for what?
The 100 years it took them to convince Congress to become the anthem after 40 failed attempts
Stand for what?
Your forefathers who really just Pimps.
Stand for What?
A song about War, not freedom
That’s how you want to lead them
Brainwash your people? that’s how you want to treat em
Slavemasters whips to Cops night sticks, that’s how you continue to beat em.
Stand for what
the beginning of Slavery in 1619
Or the end of those Black Marines of 1814
That’s really what the lyrics are about
They may have taken the word slave out
but they forget to remove the slave connotations from their brains and they mouth The mentality to make America Greater than your imagination is how you pout
Hating because we burned down their White House
Gave proof through the night, that its light out
For the old elitist white man thinking
Drunk off they ass with power at baseball games singing and drinking

Man stand for what?

Stand for something or fall for dumb shit!

Stand for what

To salute the Red White and Blue, on a Flag where my Colors not reflected

Stand for what
To uphold laws that were embedded to have my community negatively affected
Stand for what
Your racist systemic melodies of mind manipulating rhetoric?
Did you know the government pays Sports organizations for plays, to make people more patriotic
This MK Ultra Soul control needs to stop it
I can still love my country and hate that fucked up song about rockets, and bombs bursting air
Reminds me of Charlottesville’s vicious glares
And police shootings with no care like the dash cameras wasn’t there.
Stand for what
Monuments and statues of old slave masters
Constant reminders of our nations disasters
The Heros in Houston, the Doctors, the Poets and the Pastors.
That’s who I want to shape our greatness after
I honor and respect our men and women of service
But we’ve been taught to idolize wars without purpose
The majority of our Militaries casualties are minority soldiers
So let’s make statues for those warriors because they truly deserve it
Mt Rushmore was built by the Ku Klux Klan, so why the fuck should I have respect for those men

Damn, This is not my country and it’s not yours either.
Go back to Africa? I wish we never had to leave it
But the entire World is our neighborhood
So why do we perceive certain blocks to be bad and other blocks to be good?

Instead of glorifying the past we gotta focus on the future
Dick Gregory warned me if U speak up They probably gonna shoot ya!

But I shout for his eternal voice along with Martin, Malcolm and Marcus Garvey and
march wholeheartedly for their legacy
Because I’ll say it loud as you can see
Fuck Francis Scott Key and Robert E. Lee
They don’t represent me and neither do either of these hypocritical political parties
I am a native to the cosmic and Universal God Energy.

Even though the constitution really doesn’t apply to me
I’ll try to exercise my freedom of speech

So you can tell them you heard it from me.
Yeah I said it
Brutality, Historic Fallacies and
All war is wrong and so is that fucking song!
It’s Been way too long!
It’s time to make a change and acknowledge that your home of the brave was built on the back of a Slave.

So bowing down to a true King
Is the only way to let freedom ring

Stand for what?

I ain’t standing For Shit… except Kaepernick!

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James warms up before Game 5 of basketball's NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cavaliers in Oakland, Calif., Monday, June 12, 2017. (AP Photo/Marcio Jose Sanchez)

Marcio Jose Sanchez/Associated Press

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James fired back at President Donald Trump on Saturday after Trump said Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors was no longer invited to the White House to commemorate his team’s NBA title.

LeBron took a shot at Trump and backed the Warriors guard in the process:

U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!

James released a video on Uninterrupted later on Saturday:

Earlier Saturday, Trump tweeted about uninviting Curry:

Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!

Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul, and former Los Angeles Lakersstar Kobe Bryant also defended Curry:

whose name alone creates division and anger. Whose words inspire dissension and hatred can’t possibly “Make America Great Again”

With everything that’s going on in our country, why are YOU focused on who’s kneeling and visiting the White House???

On Friday, Curry told reporters he would vote against the team visiting the White House, via’s Chris Haynes.

When asked Thursday about the Warriors possibly visiting the White House, head coach Steve Kerr said they would sit down and decide as a team, per’s Ramona Shelburne.

Curry was the most outspoken about not wanting to visit the White House, and he explained his feelings on the matter Friday, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic (h/t’s Jeremy Woo):

“That we don’t stand for basically what our president has—the things that he’s said and the things that he hasn’t said at the right times—that we won’t stand for it. By acting and not going, hopefully that will inspire some change when it comes to what we tolerate in this country, what is accepted and what we turn a blind eye toward. It’s not just the act of not going; there are things you have to do in the back end that you have to push that message into motion.

“You can talk about all the different personalities that have said things and done things—from [NFL free-agent quarterback Colin] Kaepernick to what happened with [Seattle Seahawks defensive end] Michael Bennett to all sorts of examples of what has gone on in our country that has led to change. We’re all trying to do what we can using our platforms, using our opportunities to shed light on that. That’s kind of where I stand on that. I don’t think us going to the White House will miraculously make everything better, but this is my opportunity to voice that.”

James and the Cavaliers visited the White House last year after beating the Warriors in seven games to win the 2016 NBA championship, but they did so when Barack Obama was still in office.

The most prominent championship team to visit the White House since Trump was sworn in was the New England Patriots following their Super Bowl 51 triumph over the Atlanta Falcons, though some players declined to attend.
