2013 Soul Train Awards Noms are Out: Kendrick Lamar Leads with Six

    *Nominations for the 2013 “Soul Train Awards” have been announced newcomer and hip hop starKendrick Lamar leads the pack with six.

    All together, Lamar is the recipient of six noms, including new artist and song and album of the year. Meanwhile Lamar is trailed by Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Miguel, Chris Brown and Tamar Braxton. They were each accorded five nominations.

    The awards show will taped Nov. 8 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas

    Actor Anthony Anderson, who  claims he’s not a comedian, even though he can keep you in stitches, will host the show.

    The 2013 “Soul Train Awards” air date is Dec. 1 at 9 PM ET/PT on CENTRIC and BET
